Šmartno is a charming fortified hilltop village with its well-preserved medieval architecture, and neogothic church of St. Martin. It offers really nice panoramic views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. We will stroll through the village together and enjoy its peaceful ambience.
One of the most iconic landmarks in Goriška Brda is Gonjače viewing tower. Standing 23 meters (75 feet) tall, if offers breathtaking 360° views of the region. In a nice weather you can see the Julian Alps, Dolomites, Karst Plateau, and even the Adriatic Sea on a clear day.
