Experience Hiking Agency was born from the desire to give hiking a broader meaning.
Along countless trails in Slovenia and abroad, we have learned that the most memorable moments are not created only by beautiful views and summits reached. They are also shaped by the places, people, stories and unexpected moments we discover along the way.
That is why we developed our own approach to designing programmes — one where hiking is the thread that connects the day, but not its only purpose. Alongside carefully selected routes, we also make time for cultural and historical landmarks, natural heritage and the stories of the places we visit.
We believe this is what makes a journey feel complete and allows you to truly get to know a destination.
We begin by exploring each destination ourselves. We walk the trails, compare different options and choose the routes that best reflect the character of the place.
When designing our programmes, we focus on quality rather than quantity. We would rather include fewer locations and give them the time they deserve than rush from one attraction to the next. This allows each programme to unfold at a comfortable pace and creates a balanced mix of hiking, exploration and free time.

A love of exploration first took him across Slovenia and later further and further around the world. Over the years, travel became a way of life, and today he most enjoys discovering places through nature, hiking, and encounters with people and their stories. Asia holds a special place in his heart, but his curiosity continues to take him in many other directions as well.
As a guide, he believes that the best experiences are the ones shared with others. Every group is different, and every journey brings a new story.

Behind every well-designed programme is careful organisation. Janina makes sure that everything, from the first enquiry to the day of departure, runs smoothly and with as little unnecessary stress as possible.
She feels most at home in nature and among people, so whenever she gets the chance, she also joins the group on the trail.
